Studio Headshots

You can’t always get what you want, but you may be able to make what you need! I do not have a set apart studio in my home right now, but I am so thankful to have a few large windows with stunning natural light. Sure it requires a little furniture shifting and set up, but in five minutes, I have my temporary studio, absolutely ideal for newborn and small children set ups, but also for adult headshots. Though I would shoot outdoors all the time if I could, living in Canada doesn’t permit it. That’s where having a studio comes in, allowing me to continue shooting year-round.

These lovely ladies came in recently for headshots to be used on social media or for professional applications. All of these were shot in one small space, with one camera and one lens. We made it work, and I love the results!
