Mr. & Mrs. Vanderveen

She is my sister-in-law…now he is officially my brother-in-law! Wooohooooo!!!!!

Though that is the main and most exciting point of this post, there is technically more to the story. When they first met a couple of years ago, Natalie ironically tried to set her younger sister up with Eric. He couldn’t take his eyes off Natalie though, and worked hard to catch her attention. He was successful; she was hooked.

Natalie bravely insisted on an outdoor wedding in September and to everyone’s relief, the weather obliged beautifully. It could not have been more lovely!

Sam Baynham (sambaynham.com) did a beautiful job designing the invitations, weaving a rustic, fall theme throughout.

Decorations and flowers were all done by hand, some even home-grown! A special thanks to the groom’s mother and many other willing hands for all those details coming together.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to go bowling under the reception hall. How awesome is that?! Fantastic idea, and it gave us plenty of time for portraits.

Thoughtful speeches, hilarious skits, and special dances made for a beautiful, joyous evening. Congratulations, Natalie and Eric!
