Summer was beginning to say farewell. The days were getting shorter and crisper quickly. In fact, it seemed as though we might just skip fall and go straight to winter! It was all happening much too fast for me. Not only was the weather changing, but life and work were racing as well, making it hard to keep up.

However, God is good. Just in time for Mariève, Simon, and Loïc’s family photos, the warmth came back and the colours were vibrant!

It was a delight to meet this family, especially happy little Loïc. He was just a couple months old, had fantastic hair, and many smiles. No wonder his parents were so enamored! We got to the Arboretum in Ottawa just a little while before sunset to soak up the last rays. What a beauty of a day. What a beauty of a family!
